Omark signs one-year deal with Swiss team Zug

Edmonton Oilers restricted free agent forward Linus Omark has reportedly found a new home overseas for the 2012-13 hockey season.

According to a post on his personal twitter account, the Overtornea, Sweden native is now a member of EV Zug of Switzerland's National League A.

The Edmonton Journal is reporting that he has signed a one-year-deal.

Last season, the 25-year-old played in 14 games with the Oilers, finishing the year with three goals.

He also appeared in 18 games with the Oklahoma City Barons of the American Hockey League, contributing 16 points including six goals.

Omark was selected by Oilers in the fourth round, 97th overall, of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.

He made his NHL debut in 2010 playing in 51 games, scoring five goals and picking up 22 assists for the Oilers.
