Jets' Wheeler to join Red Bull Munchen of German League

You can add Blake Wheeler's name to the growing list of players heading overseas while the NHL lockout continues.

The Winnipeg Jets forward has signed with EHC Red Bull Munchen of the German Elite League.

He is expected to join the team on Thursday.

Last season, Wheeler scored 17 goals and added 47 assists for 64 points in 80 games.
