Roman Hamrlik has the support of one of his teammates.

The Washington Capitals defenceman got into some hot water from Erik Cole about comments he made about the NHL lockout and the NHLPA's stance on the labour stoppage.

On Thursday, Capitals goaltender Michal Neuvirth showed support for Hamrlik's opinion that the NHLPA should be working harder to get a deal done with the league.

"I agree 100 percent with Hammer," Neuvirth told TVA Nova Sport in the Czech Republic. "This lockout is not about majority of players, I think. It is about several superstars with big contracts."

The 24-year-old goaltender was 13-13-5 last season with a 2.82 GAA in Washington, and currently plays with HC Sparta Praha in the Czech Republic.

Neuvirth has one year left on a two-year, $2.3 million contract that he signed prior to the 2011-12 season.
