Jets G Pavelec signs six-game deal in Finnish league

Locked out Winnipeg Jets goaltender Ondrej Pavelec is heading overseas.

According to Pavelec's agent Allan Walsh, the 24-year-old has signed a six-game contract with the Lahti Pelicans in the Finnish SM-liiga.

Last season, Pavelec appeared in 68 games wiith the Jets, compiling a 29-28-9 record, 2.91 goals against average and 0.906 save percentage.

In the off-season, Pavelec signed a five-year, $19.5 million deal.
