Eric Fehr is ready to return to Washington.
The Capitals signed the right winger to a one-year contract, worth a reported $600,000.
The 27-year-old Fehr spent 2011-12 with the Winnipeg Jets, scoring two goals and one assist in 35 games.
He returns to the organization that drafted him with the 18th overall pick of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft and the team with which he has spent the majority of his professional career.
In 265 career NHL games with the Capitals and Jets, Fehr has scored 48 goals and 48 assists.
