The Winnipeg Jets have signed left-winger Jason Jaffray to a new contract.

The club announced the deal on Wednesday, but as per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The 31-year-old recorded six goals and 14 assists in 27 games with the AHL's St. John's IceCaps earlier this season.

In 49 career NHL games with the Jets, Canucks and Flames, Jaffray has four goals and seven assists.
