Jonathan Huberdeau is sticking in South Florida this season.

The Florida Panthers announced the 19-year-old rookie will stay with the NHL club past his five-game limit when the first year of his entry-level contract kicks in.

He has a goal and two assists this season.

The news comes as little surprise, as the third-overall pick in the 2011 Draft has looked strong for the struggling Panthers so far.
