The Anaheim Ducks have completed a trade with the Pittsburgh Penguins, acquiring defenceman Ben Lovejoy in exchange for a fifth-round draft pick in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.
The 28-year-old Lovejoy appeared in three games with the Penguins this year, averaging over 13 minutes of ice time. In five NHL seasons, Lovejoy has 25 points and a plus-20 rating.
Lovejoy's best season came in 2010-11 when he set career highs in goals (3), assists (14), and games played (47). The undrafted free agent has also played in nine post-season games with the Pens.
