Blues place McDonald on injured reserve with knee injury

The St. Louis Blues placed centre Andy McDonald on injured reserve on Wednesday while centre Alex Steen is listed as day-to-day with an upper body injury.

McDonald is listed as week-to-week after suffering a knee injury during practice on Tuesday.

The 35-year-old McDonald has appeared in all 18 of the Blues' games this season, scoring three goals and adding eight assists.

Steen, whowas also injured during Tuesday's practice, has appeared in all 18 of the Blues' games this season and leads the team with 16 points including four goals and 12 assists.
