Flames acquire enforcer McGrattan from Predators

The Calgary Flames acquired forward Brian McGrattan from the Nashville Predators for Joe Piskula on Thursday.

McGrattan was playing for the Predators' AHL affiliate in Milwaukee where he had four penalty minutes in six games. The 31-year-old has played in two games with Nashville this season.

In six NHL seasons, the enforcer has played for four teams and recorded 16 points and 456 penalty minutes in 214 games. This will be McGrattan's second stint in Calgary.

Piskula has played in 10 NHL games with the Flames and Los Angeles Kings. He has two goals and 10 points in 46 games with the Flames AHL affiliate in Abbotsford this season.
