Three games after returning from a concussion, Evgeni Malkin of the Pittsburgh Penguins is out of the lineup again.

Penguins head coach Dan Bylsma said Malkin will not play against the New York Islanders on Sunday night. Malkin, who missed four games with a concussion late last month, just returned to the lineup on Monday.

Malkin suffered an upper body injury on Saturday after taking a hit from James van Riemsdyk in the third period of their shootout win over the Toronto Maple Leafs.

After the game, Bylsma said Malkin was kept out of the remainder of the game and the shootout for precautionary reasons, adding that he will be re-evaluated.
