The struggling Vancouver Canucks made a roster move concerning centres on Monday, sending Jordan Schroeder to the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League and recalling Andrew Ebbett.

The 22-year-old Schroeder has two goals and three assists in 22 games this season, but has failed to pick up a point in the last eight games.

"They want to get me going, playing more and get my confidence back," Schroeder told the Vancouver Sun.

Ebbett, who failed to record a point in five games with the Canucks this season, has 32 points in 37 AHL games.

The Canucks have lost four straight games and six of their last seven, while falling to sixth in the Western Conference.
