NASHVILLE -- The Nashville Predators have put forwards Patric Hornqvist and Colin Wilson on injured reserve, and they have activated Brandon Yip and recalled Matt Halischuk from the AHL to fill the roster spots.

Hornqvist suffered an upper body injury in a 6-0 win over the Oilers on Friday night when boarded by Oilers defenceman Theo Peckman.

Wilson leads the Predators in both goals (seven) and points (19). He was standing at the goal line right of the Minnesota net when hit by Wild defenceman Justin Falk, pushing the forward's right side into the end boards in Saturday night's 2-1 shootout loss. Wilson was on the ice for some time before being helped off the ice by the team's medical staff.

Halischuk had been in Milwaukee on a conditioning assignment.
