The Ottawa Senators are expected to have defencemen Sergei Gonchar and Marc Methot in their lineup Saturday afternoon when they face the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Gonchar was injured late in the third period of Thursday's 2-1 loss to the Boston Bruins, while Methot has been day-to-day with a knee sprain after collided with a New York Islanders player in the second period of Tuesday's game.

Methot took part in Friday's morning skate while Gonchar did not.

Through 28 games this season, the 38-year-old Gonchar has two goals and 19 assists with a plus- 6 rating.

Methot, 27, has one goal and three assists with a minus- 4 rating through 30 games.

The Senators have been finding ways to win despite long-term injuries to key players, including star forward Jason Spezza, Norris Trophy-winning defenceman Erik Karlsson and forward Milan Michalek.
