OTTAWA -- The Ottawa Senators have signed forward Buddy Robinson to a three-year entry-level contract.

Robinson recently completed his sophomore collegiate season at Lake Superior State. The Lakers fell to Bowling Green in the first round of the Central Collegiate Hockey Association playoffs.

Prior to attending Lake Superior State, the six-foot-five, 236-pound winger spent parts of two seasons with the Hamilton Red Wings of the Tier II Ontario Junior Hockey League. He registered 61 points (26 goals, 35 assists) and 101 penalty minutes over 81 games.

Robinson played the final 19 games of the 2010-11 season with the CCHL's Nepean Raiders, recording 24 points (five goals, 19 assists) and 20 penalty minutes.
