Rene Bourque and Ryan White took part in the optional morning skate. Bourque who was in Atlanta last week to see neurologist Ted Carrick, the same doctor that helped Sidney Crosby recover from his concussion, is finally skating again. There isn't much more information given on Bourque's status besides that he is feeling better this week compared to last.

White was hoping to be back in the lineup last Saturday against the New York Rangers will still need more time to recover from an ankle injury. Earlier this season White said that he had lightly injured his ankle and then recently tweaked it has caused him to be sidelined for the past four games.

Michel Therrien is sticking with the same line up as Saturday, meaning Carey Price in goal and making Michael Blunden the healthy scratch. Peter Budaj will play sometime this week but Therrien has not decided which game. Players that opted to take the option this morning were: Tomas Plekanec, Michael Ryder, Max Pacioretty, David Desharnais, Francis Bouillon, Lars Eller, Travis Moen and Carey Price

Tonight is Autism Awareness Night at the Bell Centre benefiting Autism Speaks Canada. This is a foundation that has a personal connection with the Canadiens organization, goaltending coach Pierre Groulx and director of player personnel Scott Mellanby both have sons who are autistic. The Montreal Canadiens Children's Foundation have invited autistic children and their parents to tonight's game and they will get a chance to meet with Carey Price and Pierre Groulx in the locker room after the game.

An online auction has been set up to raise funds for the Pierre Groulx-Canadiens Team that will be walking in the Walk Now for Autism Speaks event taking place on May 26th at Uniprix Stadium in Montreal. The online auction can be at nhl.auction.com and features a variety of items signed by the Habs and other NHL players.
