Jets claim Santorelli off waivers from Panthers

The Winnipeg Jets have claimed forward Mike Santorelli off waivers from the Florida Panthers.

In 24 games with the Panthers this season, Santorelli has scored two goals and one assist, adding 50 penalty minutes.

Santorelli is set to become an unrestricted free agent after this season.

He has played 198 career NHL games with the Panthers and Nashville Predators, scoring 33 goals and adding 25 assists.

The Philadelphia Flyers also made a waiver claim Wednesday, grabbing forward Adam Hall from the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Hall joins his third team in the last two days. He was dealt from the Carolina Hurricanes to the Tampa Bay Lightning on Tuesday and was immediately placed on waivers.

In 591 career games with the Lightning, Hurricanes, Nashville Predators, New York Rangers, Minnesota Wild and Pittsburgh Penguins Hall has scored 65 goals and 82 assists.
