Canucks' Luongo confirms he'll start Game 2 against Sharks

Roberto Luongo will get at least one more start in the playoffs this year.

Luongo confirmed that he will start Game 2 of the Vancouver Canucks' first-round series with the San Jose Sharks, with Cory Schneider still recovering from injury.

Luongo was between the pipes for Game 1, a 3-1 loss to San Jose. The 34-year-old made 25 saves in the loss.

Luongo also started Vancouver's final two regular season games.

In other news, Ryan Kesler and Derek Roy were reunited on the second line in practice on Thursday.

The Canucks resume their series with the Sharks Friday at 10pm et/7pm pt on TSN.
