Penguins sign forward D'Agostini to one-year contract

The Pittsburgh Penguins on Wednesday announced the signing of forward Matt D'Agostini to a one-year, $550,000 contract.

D'Agostini, 26, split last season playing for the St. Louis Blues and the New Jersey Devils, tallying three goals and six points in 29 games.

D'Agostini had a career season with St. Louis in 2010-11, scoring 21 goals and 46 points in 81 games.

D'Agostini was drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in the sixth round of the 2005 NHL Draft and has played with New Jersey, St. Louis and Montreal, totaling 47 goals and 95 points in 264 regular season games.
