Capitals re-sign F Johansson to two-year, $4M deal

The Washington Capitals have resigned Marcus Johansson to a two-year, $4 million dollar contract. 

The 22-year old forward scored six goals and 16 assists in 34 games last season.

During the 2011-12 season, Johansson set career marks with 14 goals and 32 assists, appearing in 80 games with the Capitals.

The Landskrona, Sweden native was drafted 24th overall, in the first round of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
