With the regular season less than two weeks away, the Montreal Canadiens are already hurting on the blue line.

Defenceman Davis Drewiske suffered a shoulder injury in Wednesday's practice and will be out for four weeks.

In the same practice, Francis Bouillon suffered a lower body injury and is listed as day-to-day.

Defenceman Douglas Murray sat out Wednesday's practice with a lower body injury and is also day-to-day.

Darren Deitz was recalled from the AHL's Hamilton Bulldogs to fill in for the remainder of the pre-season, or until one of the veteran defenceman returns from injury.
