Chicago Blackhawks forward Marian Hossa could be looking at a shortened preseason.

According to a report from the Chicago Sun-Times, Hossa aggravated an upper-body injury and will miss the next four preseason games. The 34-year-old is expected to be back for the regular season opener.

Hossa had 17 goals and 31 points last year in helping the Blackhawks win the Stanley Cup. For his career, the former 12th overall selection has 434 goals and 935 points in 1,018 games.
