It's a special night in downtown Winnipeg as the (2-0) Jets host Teemu Selanne and the (1-1) Anaheim Ducks.

TSN 1290 Colour Analyst Paul Edmonds will join me for the radio broadcast at 7pm ct, while Dennis Beyak, Shane Hnidy and Sara Orlesky will call the action on TSN Jets.

Ondrej Pavelec will start his third consecutive game in goal.

Head Coach Claude Noel confirmed this morning that defenceman Grant Clitsome will make his regular season debut after missing the first two games due to injury. Toby Enstrom, who took part in the pregame skate, is a game-time decision.

Olli Jokinen, who scored his 300th NHL goal Friday against Los Angeles, is one point away from 700 in his NHL career.

Tonight is Zach Bogosian's 300th NHL game.

Dustin Byfuglien (four assists), Michael Frolik (two goals, one assist), Enstrom (three assists), Bryan Little (two goals) and Mark Scheifele (one goal, one assist) are on two-game point streaks.

Victor Fasth will start in goal for Anaheim, a team coming off its first win of the season last night 4-3 in overtime in Minnesota.

This is Selanne's final regular season game in Winnipeg where in 1992 his NHL career began. He had 306 points (147 goals and 159 assists) in 231 games as a Jet and won the Calder Trophy scoring 76 goals that season.

Jakob Silfverberg has scored in back-to-back games for the Ducks.

Anaheim is without defencemen Sheldon Souray, Luca Sbisa and forward Emerson Etem entering tonight's game due to injury.
