San Jose Sharks defenceman Brad Stuart had a telephone hearing with the NHL at 3:30pm et on Wednesday for his elbow on New York Rangers forward Rick Nash during Tuesday's game.

Early in the first period, Stuart pinched in from the blue line, hit Nash and was assessed a minor penalty for elbowing.

Nash remained in the game for the rest of the first period, but did not return for the second.

"It just didn't feel right," Nash said after the game. "I could feel it. Any time you get a head shot, you're concerned. It's not a good feeling."
