Buffalo Sabres forward Patrick Kaleta will have his suspension appeal heard Monday afternoon.

Kaleta will meet with NHL commissioner Gary Bettman in person in New York City at 2:00pm et.

The Sabres' agitator received a 10-game suspension on October 15th for an illegal check to the head of Columbus Blue Jackets defenceman Jack Johnson during an October 10th game.

There was no penalty assessed on the play.

Kaleta had already served two games of the suspension while awaiting official word of the length of his ban to come down.

The 27-year-old Buffalo native is considered a repeat offender by the league, having already been suspended three times prior to this incident.
