Winnipeg Jets defenceman Tobias Enstrom has decided to take a pass on the 2014 Olympics in Sochi.

Enstrom sat down with Swedish head coach Par Marts in Winnipeg a few weeks ago and said he would rather focus on helping the Jets make the playoffs this season.

Saying it was a tough decision, Enstrom feels he will be better rested for the stretch run in the spring.

In 14 games this season, Enstrom has one goal and six assists.
