The Toronto Maple Leafs announced on Saturday that they have placed centre Tyler Bozak on long-term injured reserve.

He is eligible for reinstatement on November 21st when the Leafs host the Nashville Predators.

Bozak has been out since sustaining a lower-body injury in last Friday's 5-2 loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets.

In 11 games this year, the 27-year-old Bozak has three goals and three assists.
