EDMONTON -- The Edmonton Oilers traded goalie Jason LaBarbera to the Chicago Blackhawks on Saturday for future considerations.

LaBarbera will be assigned to the American Hockey League's Rockford IceHogs.

He has also earned a 0-1-1 record with a 1.93 goals-against average and a .953 save percentage in two appearances with the Oklahoma City Barons of the AHL.

LaBarbera has played in 182 NHL games with the New York Rangers, Los Angeles Kings, Vancouver Canucks, Phoenix Coyotes and Edmonton. He has a career 60-73-19 record with six shutouts, a 2.86 GAA and a .907 save percentage.
