Tuesday's game between the Carolina Hurricanes and Philadelphia Flyers has been postponed due to a winter storm in the Philadelphia area.

The game has been rescheduled for Wednesday.

In addition, the league announced that the Hurricanes' scheduled home game against the Ottawa Senators on Friday night has been moved to Saturday, Jan. 25. Friday's game had to be moved due to a league rule preventing teams from playing games on three consecutive days. The Hurricanes face the Buffalo Sabres at First Niagara Center on Thursday.

This is the second game the Hurricanes will have to make up after a game against the Buffalo Sabres was postponed earlier this month.

That game will be played on February 25, one day before the Olympic break ends.
