Senators trade D Petersson to Ducks for D Grant

The Ottawa Senators have traded defenceman Andre Petersson to the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for defenceman Alex Grant.

 Petersson, 23, has scored 17 goals and 23 assists in 47 games with the American Hockey League's Binghamton Senators this season.

He was originally selected in the fourth round (109th overall) by the Senators in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.

Grant, 25, has scored seven goals and 20 assists in 52 games with the AHL's Norfolk Admirals this season. he has also scored two goals and two games with the Ducks this season.

He was originally selected in the fourth round (118th overall) of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
