Washington Capitals prospect Evgeny Kuznetsov has signed an entry level contract and will make his debut for the team on Monday against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Kuznetsov, who was selected by the Capitals in the first round of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft, has been playing for his hometown team Chelyabinsk Traktor of the KHL.

The 21-year-old forward has spent the past five seasons with Chelyabinsk Traktor.

In 31 games this season, Kuznetsov has eight goals and 13 assists.  He was also named to the KHL All-Star game in 2012.
