Goaltender Jonathan Bernier and defenceman Carl Gunnarsson underwent successful surgery after the season and both are expected to be ready for training camp.

Bernier, who missed five games with a lower body injury and the final four games with a strained MCL, underwent a procedure to repair a sports hernia.

Gunnarsson, who only missed one game all season, had surgery on his hip.

Forward Joffrey Lupul, who missed the final three games of the regular season, underwent knee sugery in early April and is also progressing well.
