Jets sign D Pardy to one-year extension

Winnipeg, MB - The Winnipeg Jets have agreed to terms with defenseman Adam Pardy on a one-year, $700,000 contract.

Pardy, 30, posted six assists in 60 games last season, his first with the Jets.

Selected by Calgary in the sixth round of the 2004 NHL Draft, Pardy has four goals and 35 assists in 260 career games for the Flames, Dallas Stars, Buffalo Sabres and Jets.
