Islanders sign G Johnson to two-year contract

The New York Islanders have signed goaltender Chad Johnson to a two-year contract with an average annual value of $1.3 million.

The 28-year-old spent last season with the Boston Bruins recording a 17-4-3 record with a 2.10 goals against average and a 0.925 save percentage.
