Spokane, WA - Domantas Sabonis had 13 points and 11 rebounds off the bench and No. 3 Gonzaga pulled away in the second half to defeat Portland 64-46 on Thursday night.

Przemek Karnowski posted 10 points and 11 boards for the Bulldogs (21-1, 10-0 WCC), who have won 14 straight games since their lone loss at Arizona on Dec. 6.

Kevin Pangos became the leading 3-point shooter in school history following a triple early in the second hald.

"He's an amazing player and a more amazing person," Gonzaga coach Mark Few said of Pangos.

Volodymyr Gerun pulled down 15 rebounds to lead Portland (12-10, 3-7), which didn't have a single player reach double figures in scoring.

The Bulldogs led by just six at the half, but used an extended 25-6 run to start the second half and break the game wide open.

Sabonis, who netted six points during the surge, capped it with a dunk for a commanding 56-31 advantage with 7:11 left.

Gonzaga cruised to the easy triumph from there.

The Pilots hung around in the opening 20 minutes, but the Bulldogs concluded the half on a 7-2 spurt to create some seperation. Sabonis recorded a three- point play, Karnowski split a pair of free throws, and Pangos nailed a 3-pointer for a 31-25 Gonzaga cushion at the break.

Gonzaga has beaten Portland 12 straight times in Spokane ... The Pilots have dropped seven of their last nine games and four consecutive contests on the road ... Bobby Sharp and Bryce Pressley each netted nine points to lead the Pilots.
