Seattle, WA (SportsNetwork.com) - Przemek Karnowski had 16 points and eight rebounds as No. 8 Gonzaga defeated Cal Poly 63-50 on Saturday night.

Kevin Pangos netted 16 points for the Bulldogs (11-1), who have won four straight since their lone loss at Arizona on Dec. 6.

David Nwaba led the Mustangs (5-5) with 21 points.

After Ridge Shipley's 3-pointer staked Cal Poly to a 13-9 advantage midway through the opening frame, Gonzaga responded with a 13-4 run. Pangos capped the surge with a triple for a 22-17 Bulldogs advantage.

Gonzaga netted the final six points of the half, with Karnowski providing the final two buckets for a 28-20 cushion heading into the break.

The Mustangs never cut the deficit below four the rest of the way.

Nwaba's layup trimmed the gap to 38-34 with 14:27 to go, but Karnowski finished off an ensuing 11-5 Gonzaga swing with a layup to up the margin to 49-39 with 7:56 to go.

Gonzaga cruised to the win from there.
