Off The Record

Never one to pull punches, host Michael Landsberg - who has been with TSN since the network launched in 1984 - is considered Canada's king of in-your-face debate and one of the best interviewers in the country.

After 18 years on TSN, Off The Record with Michael Landsberg takes on a brand new format.

Evolving from a 30-minute daily show, host Michael Landsberg shares his unique take on the sports world through new OTR segments on SportsCentre, which will be showcased across TSN.ca and TSN social media platforms.

In addition to hosting the new Off The Record format, Landsberg co-hosts Naylor and Landsberg on TSN Radio 1050 in Toronto and continues to focus on his #SickNotWeak campaign as a key ambassador for Bell Let's Talk while taking on new projects.

You can follow Michael on Twitter at @heylandsberg.

One of the best-known personalities in Canadian broadcasting, Michael speaks publicly about his personal battle with depression and considers his ability to help reduce the stigma of mental illness as his most important professional calling.

He has been an ambassador for Bell Let's Talk, an initiative focused on raising awareness and encouraging dialogue about mental health, since it launched in 2011.

In 2013, his documentary, Darkness and Hope: Depression, Sports and Me, was nominated for a 2013 Canadian Screen Award for Best History or Biography Documentary Program or Series. In 2012, the Canadian Alliance on Mental Illness and Mental Health also named Michael one of its Champions of Mental Health. He also takes to Twitter, using the hashtag #SickNotWeak to encourage discussion around mental health and creating a forum for those needing help.

For his longstanding dedication to promoting mental health awareness, Michael was honoured with the Humanitarian Award at the 2015 Canadian Screen Awards.

And his work doesn't stop there. Michael will be launching another new initiative - his new website at sicknotweak.com - on March 10 to promote further awareness on mental health and we are excited to help him promote it soon. Stay tuned.
