OTTAWA - Samuel Schutt had two goals, including an empty-netter at 17:16 of the third period, to lead the Kingston Frontenacs to a 5-2 victory over the Ottawa 67's in Ontario Hockey League action on Sunday.

Lawson Crouse had a goal and an assist for Kingston (16-16-6), and Robert Polesello and Ted Nichol also scored. Ryan Verbeek chipped in with two assists.

Travis Konecny and Trent Mallette supplied the offence for the 67's (20-18-2).

Frontenacs goaltender Lucas Peressini made 40 saves. Ottawa's Leo Lazarev stopped 19-of-23 shots in the losing effort.

The 67's were scoreless on three chances with the man advantage. Kingston, meanwhile, didn't have any power plays to take advantage of.

ERIE, Pa. — Connor McDavid and Nicholas Baptiste had a goal and an assist apiece to pace to Otters past London.

Kyle Maksimovich, Alex DeBrincat, and Dylan Strome also scored for Erie (29-9-3).

Christian Dvorak had two goals and an assist for the Knights (24-13-3) while Julius Bergman rounded out the London offence.

OWEN SOUND, Ont. — Taylor Dupuis turned away 41 shots as Sarnia hung on to edge the Attack.

Hayden Hodgson and Kevin Spinozzi built the Sting (21-15-4) a 2-0 lead midway through the third period.

Justin Brack put Owen Sound (17-12-9) on the board at 11:30 of the third.

OSHAWA, Ont. — Bradley Latour and Michael McCarron each had a pair of goals as the Generals blanked Mississauga.

Jeremy Brodeur made 19 saves for Oshawa (31-6-2) while Latour tacked on an assist for a three-point outing.

Jacob Brennan kicked out 38-of-41 shots for the Steelheads (18-19-3).

GUELPH, Ont. — C.J. Garcia and Tyler Bertuzzi scored nine seconds apart in the third period to lift the Storm over Kitchener.

Zac Leslie and James McEwen also scored for Guelph (23-15-3).
