FLINT, Mich. - The Flint Firebirds continued an action-filled week with a victory on Friday.

Nicholas Caamano scored the first of four-straight goals in the first period for the Firebirds as they held on to beat the Sarnia Sting 4-3 in Ontario Hockey League action.

It was Flint's first game since the team's owner, Rolf Nilsen, fired head coach John Gruden and assistants Dave Karpa and Petr Jonak on Sunday before reinstating the staff less than 24 hours later.

Dane Johnstone, Ryan Moore and Zach Grzelewski also had goals in the first for the Firebirds (8-9-1). Alex Nedeljkovic kicked out 27 shots for the win.

Pavel Zacha, Davis Brown and Jordan Kyrou replied for Sarnia (10-7-2). Justin Fazio turned away 20 shots in net.

Flint was scoreless on seven power-play chances with the Sting going 0 for 6.

ERIE, Pa. — Taylor Raddysh struck twice as the Otters beat Oshawa.

Erik Cernak, Kyle Pettit, Dylan Strome and TJ Fergus rounded out the attack for Erie (15-2-1). Toronto Maple Leafs prospect Travis Dermott had four assists.

Mitchell Vande Sompel, Michael Dal Colle, Kyle MacLean and Domenic Commisso scored for the Generals (9-9-3).

Oshawa's Alexandre Renaud was ejected at 13:42 of the second period after a major penalty for checking from behind.

KINGSTON, Ont. — Juho Lammikko had the overtime winner and added an assist as the Frontenacs slipped past Hamilton.

Ted Nichol, Lawson Crouse and Nathan Billitier scored in regulation for Kingston (12-6-2).

Stephen Harper, Niki Petti and Michael Cramarossa supplied the offence for the Bulldogs (6-11-1).

KITCHENER, Ont. — Darby Llewellyn struck twice as the Rangers downed Saginaw.

Mason Kohn, Brandon Robinson, Jacob Cascagnette and Ryan MacInnis rounded out the attack for Kitchener (15-1-3), which got three assists from Jeremy Bracco.

Brady Gilmour and Cole Coskey scored for the Spirit (8-9-2).

LONDON, Ont. — Toronto Maple Leafs prospect Mitchell Marner had two goals and three assists as the Knights won their fifth straight by routing Guelph.

Kole Sherwood and JJ Piccinich both struck twice, with Matthew Tkachuk and Christian Dvorak adding a goal and three assists each for London (13-2-2). Owen MacDonald and Aaron Berisha had the others.

Vladislav Barulin scored twice for the Storm (2-15-1). Jake Bricknell and Garrett McFadden supplied the rest of the offence, with Tyler Hill tacking on three assists.
