ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - Brendan Perlini scored twice as the Niagara IceDogs beat the Kingston Frontenacs 3-1 on Wednesday night to sweep their second round Ontario Hockey League playoff series 4-0.

Both of Perlini's goals came in the first period, including one on the power play, with Johnny Corneil adding insurance with the man advantage in the third for Niagara.

Lawson Crouse had a short-handed goal early in the third period for the Frontenacs.

Alex Nedeljkovic turned away 32-of-33 shots for the win as Lucas Peressini made 26 saves in defeat.

The IceDogs were 2 for 4 on the power play while Kingston was scoreless on its lone attempt with the man advantage.

SAULT STE. MARIE, Ont. — Alex DeBrincat and Travis Dermott had a goal and an assist each as Erie downed the Greyhounds in Game 4 to take a 3-1 series advantage.

Nick Betz, Jake Marchment and Darren Raddysh rounded out the attack for the Otters. Devin Williams made 15 saves for the win in net.

Jack Kopacka and Blake Speers scored for Sault Ste. Marie, which got 30 saves from Brandon Halverson.
