ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - Brendan Perlini scored the winner on the power play in the second period as the Niagara IceDogs edged the Ottawa 67's 4-3 on Sunday afternoon to win their Ontario Hockey League first-round series 4-2.

Vince Dunn and Cody Payne also found the back of the net in a three-goal second period for the IceDogs. Jordan Maletta opened the scoring in the first.

Nevin Gay, Taylor Davis and Dante Salituro scored for Ottawa.

Brandon Hope got the win in goal, making 28 saves. Laim Herbst turned aside 23 shots in the loss.

Niagara went 1 for 4 on the power play, with the 67's converting once on three chances.

The IceDogs will face the Oshawa Generals in second-round action. Game 1 goes Friday.

KITCHENER, Ont. — Tyler Parsons turned aside 30 shots as London won its first-round playoff matchup 4-2 by blanking the Rangers.

Christian Dvorak, Tait Seguin, Matt Rupert, Aiden Jamieson and Victor Mete scored for the Knights.

Jake Paterson made 37 saves for Kitchener in the loss.

London takes on the Erie Otters in Round 2.
