LONDON, Ont. - Toronto Maple Leafs prospect Mitchell Marner scored twice in the first five minutes of the third period and added an assist as the London Knights got past the Niagara IceDogs 3-1 on Friday night in Ontario Hockey League action.

Owen MacDonald had an empty-net goal to round out the attack for London (38-11-3), which won its fourth straight.

Brendan Perlini scored late in the first period for the IceDogs (27-19-6).

Brendan Burke kicked out 18 shots for the win as Alex Nedeljkovic made 20 saves in defeat.

Neither team scored on the power play with the Knights going 0 for 3 and Niagara being held scoreless on two opportunities.

SUDBURY, Ont. — Reagan O'Grady was one of five Wolves to score once and add an assist as they beat Saginaw.

Danny Desrochers, Brady Pataki, Michael Pezzetta and Mikkel Aagaard had similar nights for Sudbury (15-33-4), which won its third in a row. Ryan Valentini and Alan Lyszczarczyk rounded out the attack.

Mitchell Stephens had two goals and an assist for the Spirit (20-28-6). Matthew Kreis had the other goal.

SAULT STE. MARIE, Ont. — Nick Suzuki scored 3:48 into overtime as Owen Sound edged the Greyhounds.

Ryan MacInnis pulled the game to within one with a goal on the man advantage at 19:27 of the third for Kitchener (36-10-5). Jeremy Bracco had the other goal.

MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — Daniel Muzito-Bagenda scored twice and Alexander Nylander had three assists as the Steelheads edged Erie.

Kyle Maksimovich, Alex DeBrincat, Dylan Strome and Haydn Hopkins supplied the offence for the Otters (41-9-1).
