ERIE, Pa. - Connor McDavid was up to his old tricks on Saturday night.

He had a five-point night — including a pair of goals — as the Erie Otters routed the Peterborough Petes 8-2 in Ontario Hockey League action.

Alex DeBrincat also scored twice in a four-goal third period for Erie (39-13-4). Nicholas Baptiste, Taylor Raddysh, Dylan Strome and Remi Elie also found the back of the net.

Greg Betzold and Jonathan Ang answered for the Petes (22-28-6).

Devin Williams picked up the win in net, making 27 saves. Matthew Mancina started for Peterborough and turned away 25-of-32 shots in 55:07. Dylan Wells finished the game by stopping five shots.

The Otters were successful on two-of-three power-play chances while the Petes went 0 for 3.

OTTAWA — Nathan Todd and Dante Salituro both scored twice as the 67's used a five-goal first period to demolish Mississauga for their seventh-straight win.

Jeremiah Addison, Evan de Haan and Trent Mallette supplied the rest of the offence for Ottawa (33-20-3).

Bobby MacIntyre, Nathan Bastian and Brandon Devlin had goals for the Steelheads (22-32-3).

BELLEVILLE, Ont. — Michael Cramarossa scored once and added two assists in a five-goal first period for the Bulls as they beat Saginaw.

Brett Welychka, Brett Gustavsen, Niki Petti, Maurizio Colella and Adam Bignell rounded out the attack for Belleville (24-26-7).

Kris Bennett had a goal in the first the Spirit (23-30-3), as they dropped their seventh straight.

OSHAWA, Ont. — Jarkko Parikka had the first of four goals in the second period for Kingston as they hung on to beat the Generals.

Evan McEneny, Sam Field, Lawson Crouse and Spencer Watson supplied the rest of the offence for the Frontenacs (22-24-8).

Anthony Cirelli scored twice in a three-goal third for Oshawa (43-8-5). Mitchell Vande Sompel and Brent Pedersen also chipped in.

PLYMOUTH, Mich. — Sean Callaghan scored at 19:55 of the third period as the Whalers slipped past Sarnia.

Victor Crus Rydberg and Mathew Campagna also found the back of the net for Plymouth (20-32-4).

Alex Black and Troy Lajeunesse had goals for the Sting (25-25-7), who dropped their third in a row.

SAULT STE. MARIE, Ont. — Vancouver Canucks draft pick Jared McCann struck twice and added two assists as the Greyhounds won their seventh straight by doubling Kitchener.

Michael Bunting also had a four-point night for Sault Ste. Marie (45-11-2) with a goal and three assists. Zachary Senyshyn had a pair of goals with Anthony DeAngelo adding the other.

Adam Mascherin, Max Iafrate and Ryan MacInnis supplied the offence for the Rangers (27-20-9). Iafrate would later be ejected for his second fight of the game at 15:16 of the second period.

BARRIE, Ont. — Brendan Lemieux had a pair of goals and added an assist as the Colts got past Niagara.

Joseph Blandisi also struck twice for Barrie (36-18-2). Roy Radke and Andrew Mangiapane added the others.

Vince Dunn, Brendan Perlini, Ryan Mantha and Johnny Corneil scored for the IceDogs (27-25-4), who had a two-game winning streak snapped.

OWEN SOUNDS, Ont. — Ethan Szypula had a goal and two assists as the Attack won their fourth in a row by defeating Guelph.

Daniel Milne started the scoring just 14 seconds into the first period with Thomas Schemitsch and Holden Cook also chipping in for Owen Sound (27-19-9).

Chris Marchese answered in the second period with a goal for the Storm (32-21-4).
