MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — Aidan McFarland scored three times as the Mississauga Steelheads toppled the visiting Sudbury Wolves 6-1 on Sunday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Owen Tippett, Nicolas Hague and Michael Little also scored for the Steelheads (1-1-0) while Stefan LeBlanc and Ryan McLeod chipped in with three assists each.

Reagan O'Grady kept the Wolves (1-1-0) from being blanked with a goal midway through the second period.

Mississauga's Matthew Mancina made 24 saves for the win as Zack Bowman turned aside 38-of-44 shots for Sudbury.

The Steelheads were 2 for 6 on the power play while the Wolves failed to score on five chances with the man advantage.

Sudbury forward Michael Pezzetta was ejected at 10:13 of the opening period after taking a major penalty for checking to the head.

OTTAWA — Matt Brassard had two goals and an assist and Anthony Stefano scored once and set up two more as Barrie downed the 67's.

Zachary Magwood, Kyle Heitzner, Cordell James and Kirill Nizhnikov supplied the rest of the scoring for the Colts (2-0-0), who got a 19-save outing from David Ovsjannikov.

Chase Campbell had a pair of goals for Ottawa (1-1-0) while Kody Clark, Ben Fanjoy and Drake Rymsha added the others. Leo Lazarev stopped 26-of-32 shots in defeat.
