BARRIE, Ont. — Michael McNiven saved all 32 shots he faced as the Owen Sound Attack shut out the Barrie Colts 5-0 on Thursday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Maksim Sushko struck twice for Owen Sound (4-4-0), which has won back-to-back games. Nick Suzuki's first-period goal was the eventual winner, while Petrus Palmu and Zachary Roberts also scored.

David Ovsjannikov started in net for Barrie (3-4-1), stopping 20-of-23 shots in the first two periods. Christian Propp turned aside 10-of-12 shots he faced in the third.

Sushko's second goal came on one of the Attack's five power plays. The Colts could not capitalize on their two man advantages.

STING 5 ICEDOGS 4

ST. CATHERINE'S, Ont. — Jordan Kyrou had the winner and added three assists as Sarnia edged Niagara.

Nikita Korostelev had a power-play goal for the Sting (6-2-1), while Troy Lajeunesse, Jeff King and Franco Sproviero also scored.

Akil Thomas's goal with just over two minutes to play brought the IceDogs (3-5-0) to within one. Oliver Castleman, Ryan Mantha and Graham Knott chipped in as well.

BULLDOGS 6 BATTALION 4

NORTH BAY, Ont. — Matt Luff's goal 6:53 into the game was Hamilton's fifth and the eventual winner as the Bulldogs stormed past the Battalion.

MacKenzie Entwistle, Niki Petti, Connor Roberts and Marian Studenic also scored as Hamilton (6-1-0) built an early 5-0 lead. Matthew Strome added a goal in the second. The Bulldogs have won four straight.

Cam Dineen had a pair of goals for North Bay (3-4-0), while Jacob Ball and Brett McKenzie also scored.

PETERBOROUGH, Ont. — Gustav Bouramman and Otto Makinen scored in the shootout as Sault Ste. Marie slipped past the Petes.

Boris Katchouk's goal with 1:30 left to play in the third period forced overtime for the Greyhounds (5-3-0). Jack Kopacka, Calvin Martin and Liam Hawel also scored.

Matyas Svoboda, Jonathan Ang, Kyle Jenkins and Logan DeNoble supplied the offence for Peterborough (3-3-0).

WINDSOR, Ont. — Logan Brown had a hat trick in the first period as the Spitfires downed Flint.

Luke Boka, Jalen Chatfield, Jeremiah Addison and Aaron Luchuk also scored for Windsor's (7-2-0) fourth straight.

Ryan Moore and Kole Sherwood replied for the Firebirds (4-3-1).
