PLYMOUTH, Mich. - David Miller had three of the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds's six second-period goals as they routed the Plymouth Whalers 8-1 on Saturday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Bryan Moore, Charley Graaskamp, Darnell Nurse, Tim Gettinger and Sergey Tolchinsky rounded out the Greyhounds' (14-5-0) offence, for their fourth-straight win.

Mathew Campagna had the lone goal for Plymouth (8-11-1).

Brandon Halverson made 37 saves to earn the win. Alex Nedeljkovic started for the Whalers, but was pulled after 40 minutes and 26 saves. Zack Bowman replaced him and turned aside 13 shots.

Sault Ste. Marie scored four times on six power-play chances while Plymouth went 1 for 3.

ERIE, Pa. — Adam Mascherin scored one of five straight goals as Kitchener dominated the Otters.

Liam Maaskant, Brent Pedersen, Max Iafrate and Justin Bailey all had goals for the Rangers (11-3-5).

Nick Betz and Dylan Strome found the back of the net for Erie (16-3-1), who lost their second straight.

BELLEVILLE, Ont. — Tyler Bertuzzi scored at 18:50 of the third period on the power play as Guelph edged the Bulls.
