PETERBOROUGH, Ont. - Jake Paterson was perfect in net, stopping 32 shots as the Saginaw Spirit blanked the Peterborough Petes 4-0 on Thursday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Nick Moutrey, Luke Cairns and Artem Artemov all scored on the power play as Saginaw (5-5-1) went 3 for 5 with the man advantage.

Dylan Wells made 24 saves for Peterborough (1-5-3).

The Petes could not connect on their six power plays.

ST. CATHARINES, Ont. — Spencer Watson scored two power-play goals to lead Kingston past Niagara.

Corey Pawley, Ryan Kujawinski and Ryan Verbeek rounded out the attack for the Frontenacs (5-3-1).

Hayden McCool and Carter Verhaeghe supplied the offence for the IceDogs (2-9-0).
