GUELPH, Ont. — Isaac Ratcliffe had two goals and an assist with Jake Bricknell also scoring twice as the Guelph Storm ended a three-game losing streak with a 7-3 win over the Mississauga Steelheads on Friday night in Ontario Hockey League action.

Garrett McFadden scored once and added two assists for Guelph (8-11-3) with Givani Smith and Matt Hotchkiss adding the others.

Michael McLeod, Nathan Bastian and Shaw Boomhower found the back of the net for the Steelheads (6-9-6).

Anthony Popovich made 38 saves for the win in net. Jacob Ingham kicked out 12-of-16 shots through 40 minutes. Matthew Mancina started but was lifted after turning away 9-of-12 shots in the first period.

Bricknell and Boomhower were both ejected during the same stoppage in the third period after receiving major penalties for slashing.

The Storm were 4 for 10 on the power play while Mississauga scored twice on seven opportunities with the man advantage.

FLINT, Mich. — Nick Suzuki had a goal and two assists and Michael McNiven made 28 saves as Owen Sound got past the Firebirds.

Jacob Friend, Kevin Hancock, Matt Schmalz and Aidan Dudas rounded out the offence for the Attack (12-10-1).

Nicholas Caamano and Everett Clark chipped in for Flint (12-9-1), which had a three-game winning streak snapped. Garrett Forrest turned aside 20-of-25 shots in net.

ST. CATHARINES, Ont. — Matthew Philip and Aaron Haydon each struck twice as the IceDogs ended Ottawa's four-game winning streak.

Ondrej Machala had the other for Niagara (7-9-5) and Stephen Dhillon made 42 saves.

Noel Hoefenmayer, Jared Steege and Chase Campbell supplied the offence for the 67's (10-11-2). Leo Lazarev stopped 40 shots in defeat.

SUDBURY, Ont. — Trent Fox scored the winner in the second period and Kaden Fulcher made 25 saves as Hamilton beat the Wolves.

Brandon Saigeon and Connor Walters also chipped in for the Bulldogs (12-6-3).

Liam Dunda had the lone goal for Sudbury (9-12-1), which had its losing streak extended to five games. Jake McGrath kicked out 26 shots.

SAGINAW, Mich. — Kirill Maksimov scored the first of five-straight goals in the second period, and the winner, as the Spirit routed Erie.

Robert Proner, Damien Giroux, Hayden Hodgson and Max Grondin also scored in the second for Saginaw (6-11-3). Matthew Kreis, Jesse Barwell and Brady Gilmour rounded out the attack while Evan Cormier made 33 saves.

Taylor Raddysh had a pair of power-play goals for the Otters (15-5-2) and Allan McShane also chipped in. Troy Timpano turned away 6-of-10 shots in 21:10 with Jake Lawr stopping seven shots in relief.

SAULT STE. MARIE, Ont. — Boris Katchouk and Jack Kopacka scored in the second period as the Greyhounds beat Kingston for their third-straight win.

Otto Makinen and Tim Gettinger, on the power play, had the others for Sault Ste. Marie (14-7-1). Matthew Villalta made 28 saves in net.

Linus Nyman replied for the Frontenacs (9-11-1), which got 23 stops from Jeremy Helvig.

LONDON, Ont. — Janne Kuokkanen had a goal and three assists as the Knights dominated North Bay for their fourth-straight win.

Cliff Pu scored once and added two assists for London (14-3-3). Owen MacDonald, Liam Houdy, Robert Thoams, Sam Miletic, Max Jones and JJ Piccinich rounded out the attack. Tyler Parsons made 37 saves.

Justin Brazeau, Brady Lyle and Maurizio Colella provided the offence for the Battalion (11-9-2). Brent Moran turned away 34 shots in net.

KITCHENER, Ont. — Adam Mascherin struck twice and the Rangers handed Oshawa its first regulation loss in 12 games.

Riley Stillman and Danil Antropov scored for the Generals (15-6-1), who entered the game on a 10-0-1 run. Jeremy Brodeur kicked out 34 shots.

WINDSOR, Ont. — Gabriel Vilardi broke a tie late in overtime and the Spitfires edged Sarnia.

Sean Day evened the game at 1-1 with a power-play goal in the second period for Windsor (14-4-2), which improved to 6-0-2 in its last eight games. Mario Culina made stopped 18 shots.

Anthony Salinitri opened the scoring for the Sting (12-7-3) and Aidan Hughes made 39 saves.
