LONDON, Ont. — Givani Smith scored in regulation and again in the shootout as the Kitchener Rangers edged the London Knights 3-2 on Tuesday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Connor Bunnaman had the other goal for the Rangers (31-14-2).

Alex Formenton and Alex Turko helped the Knights (25-17-4) build a 2-0 lead within the first seven minutes of the game.

Luke Richardson made 29 saves for the win. Joseph Raaymakers turned away 23 shots for London.

Kitchener was 1 for 3 on the power play and the Knights were 0 for 5 with the man advantage.
