KINGSTON, Ont. - Sergey Tolchinsky scored in the first period and again in the third to lead the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds to a 3-1 win over the Kingston Frontenacs in Ontario Hockey League action on Sunday.

Blake Speers also scored for the Greyhounds (18-5-0), on a power play at 5:55 of the second period.

Spencer Watson scored a power-play goal for Kingston (9-9-3), cutting the Frontenacs' deficit to 2-1 before Tolchinsky replied with his second of the game.

Sault Ste. Marie goaltender Brandon Halverson made 30 saves to pick up the victory. His Kingston counterpart Lucas Peressini stopped 26 shots in the losing effort.

The Greyhounds were 2 for 6 on the man advantage while the Frontenacs scored once on six power-play opportunities.

GUELPH, Ont. — Justin Nichols turned aside 32 shots as the Storm blanked Kitchener.

Tyler Bertuzzi struck twice for Guelph (12-9-1) — including an empty-net goal with two seconds remaining — and Ben Harpur scored once and added an assist.

Dawson Carty stopped 24 of 26 shots for the Rangers (12-4-6).

MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — Sam Babintsev scored two goals — including one shorthanded — and assisted on two more to power the Steelheads over Peterborough.

Jimmy Lodge and Brandon Devlin had a goal and an assist apiece for Mississauga (9-11-1), while Lucas Venuto also scored. Bryson Cianfrone chipped in with three helpers.

Michael Clarke had the lone goal for the Petes (7-11-3), on a power play early in the second period.

BELLEVILLE, Ont. — Kevin Labanc, Andrew Mangiapane and Michael Webster had two goals and an assist apiece as Barrie dominated the Bulls.

Joseph Blandisi, Rasmus Andersson and Garrett Hooey also found the back of the net for the Colts (10-9-2), who scored five power-play goals on six chances and outshot Belleville 39-28.

Niki Petti struck twice and assisted on the other goal for the Bulls (12-10-2), who have dropped five in a row. Jordan Subban rounded out Belleville's offence.

SARNIA, Ont. — Anthony DeAngelo had two goals and an assist as the Sting topped the Spirit.

Patrick White and Jordan Kyrou each scored a goal and helped on another for Sarnia (9-11-2).

Nick Moutrey scored twice, including a short-handed goal at 8:54 of the first period, and Tye Felhaber rounded out the Saginaw (10-11-2) offence.

OSHAWA, Ont. — Michael Dal Colle scored twice — including the deciding goal at 6:21 of the third period — as the Generals topped Owen Sound for their eighth straight victory.
